Those brought on a new era of ships dominated by one even larger destroyer: the Resurgence-class Destroyer. The Jedi Attack Cruiser (Venator class) evolved into the even larger Imperial Star Destroyers, that could obliterate planets. Those were transformed into the Acclamator and Venator class Star Cruisers that you see in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. In the Sith Wars, the Sith utilized large craft in attacking the Jedi. The series is divided into chapters, with two released to date. (Imperial Military Personnel Stories) aims to show 'the best damn job in the galaxy', that of serving on the Revenge-class heavy carrier Relentless as it goes on patrols and missions. I.M.P.S.: The Relentless is a fan film that made its debut on the internet in 2005, created by fans of the Star Wars franchise. The Victory Cruiser also lacked firepower and was particulary slow and unmaneuverable compared to the Acclamator. This is my take on the Imperial-class Star Destroyer, as seen in the following: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, Rogue One. Victory Cruisers also had a shield generator meaning that unlike the Acclamator, the Victory Cruiser was not immune to complete shield destruction. A good capital ship can easily overwhelm a single Victory Cruiser and before you know it, it will likely be gone. One main weakness the Victory Cruiser has is its inability hold it's own against enemy capital ships and bomber attacks. They could also fend off fighter attacks particularly well. They were also fairly durable and weren't as fragile as the Acclamator.

They were also particularly effective at disabling enemy shields very quickly thanks to it's ion cannon. One thing the Victory Cruiser excelled at was its ability to effectively attack corvette class ships, and unlike the Acclamator Cruiser, it could carry more fighter and bomber squadrons and could counter the Assault Frigate which the Acclamator cannot do. The Victory II-class Star Destroyer was later developed as a replacement for the older Victory. However, they are somewhat limited when battling larger capital ships, and require fighter squadrons to ward off enemy bombers that can easily dispatch them. Bridging the gap between the Acclamator-class and the Imperial-class Star Destroyers, the Victory class has medium power, capable of easily defeating corvettes and light frigates. They were used as frigates by the Galactic Empire. Victory I-class Star Destoryers, sometimes called Victory Cruisers, were a smaller version of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer.
